Balancing and Aligning Chakra's

Balancing the Chakra's

The balancing of the chakra's has to do with the free flow of energy.  It is also related to the flow of energy between the lower chakra's and the upper chakra's  As energy flows between them, the 4th point is the neutral between the higher and the lower.  The higher chakra's are perhaps to be considered more spiritual and the lower chakra's more physical.  Perhaps the word physical is not the best choice, but the idea is that the higher points are presenting higher spiritual values and the lower points are more earthly values.  You ground through the 1st chakra and the other two are close to the earth point and deal with bodily functions, but also spiritual.

chakras

Question:         Are chakra points supposedly balanced?  How?  There is an odd number of chakra's
Answer:            There are 3 upper chakra's and 3 lower chakra's  The 4th chakra is neutral.  The 4th chakra relates to the heart and to love; the center concept to existence.

Balanced chakra's refer to the fact that all chakra points are the same in energy.  In other words, that the amount of energy generated by each specific point is equal to the others.  This is perhaps the easiest to rectify if in error.  By meditating upon the points, one should be able to visualize a spherical shape that represents the chakra.  As you visualize, notice if one is distinctively larger or smaller than the others.  Now at times, it may be beneficial to have a chakra point with greater energy than the rest, but in order to obtain balance, the chakra points that you visualize as you meditate should be similar in size.

Question:         When I am meditating, am I not creating the picture of the chakra in my mind?  Therefore, is it not possible that I could visualize them balanced and in reality they would not be so?”
Answer            The answer is that the chakra's are self imaging.  What you visualize is how they are at that time.  Therefore, if one needs to adjust a specific point by visualizing it larger or smaller, that adjustment is actually being affected.

The next aspect of charka wellness is of clearing the chakra's and being cleared.

Clearing the Chakra's

The concept of having a chakra point cleared is that each chakra point has its respective color.  When a point is not cleared or is blocked then the color that one sense when one meditates will not be pure but will have taints and shades of other chakra colors.

You visualize what you are creating in your chakra.  The same as with being balanced, your mental processes can create a clearing of the colors.  If your purpose is to clarify the chakra to allow energy flow to freely occur, then each specific point should resonate with its specific color. If your desire is to understand yourself, then you should experience the colors that you seem to naturally occur.  This is a technique that can be used to test your spiritual progress or energy level.  If the colors are consistently clear and pure, then your energy levels and spiritual powers are working well together.  Remember that the spiritual gifts are tied with the chakra and by having the chakra balanced, cleared, and aligned, then these gifts work at their optimum.

Question:          How do you know when the chakra points are cleared?
Answer:            This involves several things.  Usually when the chakra is cleared or aligned or balanced, these terms being used interchangeable at times, but each word connotes a different concept.  But when the charka is in this condition, then one feels joy, happiness, and spiritual and physical energies.  This is not an overwhelming experience, but a subtle feeling which provides those who experience it with a sense of well being.

There are three specific adjectives that are used to describe a chakra system that is in good working order; balanced, cleared, and aligned.

Aligning the Chakra's

How does one align the chakra?  The chakra is located along the spine.  Therefore, it is important to align the spine.  But there of course is much more.  By sitting straight, you are telling body that the spine is aligned and the chakra points are aligned as well.  But perhaps the spine is not perfectly straight for whatever reason.  Does this mean that you can never obtain alignment?  The answer is of course not; it simply means that you are telling your physical body to conform with the spiritual body.  Having once visualized the balancing and clarity of each point, then step back mentally and look at the chakra system as a unit.  You should be able to see if each point is aligned vertically and adjustments may be made in order to accomplish this.

Some find it helpful to shift slightly in their position to achieve this, but others only need to mentally push or prod a specific point into its proper location.
