Each of us chose to be born on the earth. Each of us came with an agenda of what we wanted to do, what we wanted to learn, what we wanted to experience, and who we wanted to be. We outlined and planned some of the highlights we needed to have in this life time and then we made preparations to be born.
Each of us have a similar purpose in that we desired to come here to learn and have experiences. But what those experiences are, and what we desired to learn, are probably all different. We each have different personal experiences, and it is through those personal experiences is how we learn.. Many live lives that may seem plain and ordinary and others live lives that impact greatly. But the life program of an individual is decided by the person before they are born so they can accomplish the goals they set. The person desires a total life experience. Some people will desire notoriety more than others. Those who desire the “big splash” may progress faster in their life, but they may also enjoy life far less. Those who progress more slowly often develop deeper understandings and insights but may require many multiple lives on the same level to achieve the impact of one life.
The answers as to what your specific life purpose is within you. You just need to learn how to read and interpret the messages that are being sent to you.
Where are your answers?
The messages about your life purpose are usually held within you Higher Self.
Sometimes they have been shared with your Spiritual Guide.
Often they can be interpreted based on your persistent desires that don't go away and what you keep coming back to.
And sometimes it is obvious to others based on what your personality traits and behaviors.
By learning to interpret the messages,, you can discover what your personal quest and life purpose is.
Interpreting the messages?
- Feelings.
The very first step to finding your answers is to learn to pay attention and interpret your feelings. Your feelings often are messages coming from your Higher Self or your Spiritual Guide.
- Pondering
Another method is to learn to listen to your inner thoughts and impressions. Pondering is a tool you can use for inner listeniing.
- Perrsistent desires.
If you are susceptible to these desires and they are consistently being pursued by the higher self, you eventually return to these desires and goals, even after becoming discouraged. Your higher self sees a long-term need for this purpose and therefore continues to direct your attentions in these avenues. Having a persistent desire is usually a clear sign that this activity or task or concept is something you created as something to experience in this life time. The desires one finds in this life can be used to lead a soul or person to its intended purpose in a given life.
What type of experiences should you be having? What type of knowledge should you be seeking?
Evaluate what desires you consistently pursue and eventually return to over and over and over again, even after becoming discouraged. Your Higher Self sees a long-term need for this purpose and therefore continues to direct your attentions in these avenues. So one of the tools is doing some introspection and looking at what you desire. How does the fragment/person program the personality to develop its gifts or talents it desires to obtain in its life? It instills a desire. It is not a whim nor is it a passing fancy.
The purpose of life is to not only grow, but to have joy. As you grow, doors will open and the various paths will become clear. The hard choice will be to choose those things that bring you the greatest return.
How does my life fit in with the needs of the Tao?
Your life is an opportunity perhaps that you may experience something that the Tao has not experienced before.
