Love, sex, and spirit are very much inter-related. You can think of them as a triad; each one impacting the other. As one increases, such as your love for someone, so too does your spiritual energy increase and also your desire for sex. Likewise, as you engage in more sex with someone you love, the love you feel for the person increases as well as your spiritual energy.

By engaging in sexual activities you are more close to the astral plane.  Because you are closer to the astral plane when you engage in sex, this is astral travel is easier.  Communication with the astral can be possible when you engage in sex with someone you love.

Through love, the souls (or fragments) of your bodies share and intermingle in energy and insight.  As one gives a sexual gift or pleasure to another, even if the one giving does not become sexually excited, the energy created by the activity is shared by both.  But only if the gift or activity is done with pure love and the gift or activity is accepted with the same pure love.  Love allows the energy to intermingle, therefore, as you feel love and closeness, the energies can and do share with each other. 

Sex can provide energy to the kundalini and that can energize and spiritually excite the whole body, mind, and the spirit.  It is tied to creativity, both in reproductive sense but probably more important in a general life sense as well. 

In reality, as couples engage in sex, the whole kundalini becomes spiritually activated and excited due to the influence of the 2nd chakra point.  This produces spiritual energy for the soul.  As sex is culminated in climax, the physical energy or excitement of sex diminishes but the spiritual energies do not have a climatic release and therefore remain with the soul and feeds the soul and mind and physical aspects of the body.  This energy does not come from the other partner or is robbed from another source, but comes freely from the TAO and is therefore of an unlimited supply.  The importance of this is that eventually sexual spiritual energy decreases with time and is lost back to the Tao.

The sum of two fragments energy is much greater than the sum of their separate energy.  In other words, as fragments bond, the energy grows exponentially.  Entities realize this and therefore desire to become whole.  This is how they experience joy or well being is by the increasing of their total energies.  As entities join, the energy again increases exponentially and as they progress through the various planes, continues, the energy continues to grow to become the complete TAO which is infinite in its scope and energy. 

At times you may have engaged in frequent sexual encounters and the desire and sexual activity decreases.  What is happening is that the spiritual soul is becoming satiated with sexual energy and the desire is therefore lost by the soul for continued activity.  You still feel very much in love and very close, but the need or desire for sex seems to be gone.  What is gone is the souls need for more energy.

Question:         Do we need to engage in sex every day?
Answer:            No, of course not.  Do not force the activity for you will then lose the spiritual benefits.

Question:         Do you need to engage in intercourse to obtain spiritual benefits?
Answer:            No, simple touching and holding and activities that cause sexual excitement are of benefit because they cause the 2nd chakra point to become energized.  That is why meditation on sex can cause spiritual growth.

Question:         Is sex the only way to obtain spiritual energy?
Answer:            No, but it is one of the most pleasant.

Question:        Does it matter what sexual position we use if we want to increase our spiritual energy or have a kundalini experience?
Answer:          Each chakra position has a different sexual act.  This means that different sexual positions affect the chakra's differently. 

The best practice is to engage in sex as you feel a desire or inclination.  Do not force it.  Do what you feel is right and don’t feel pressured or forced for this does not allow the spiritual energies to increase but causes sexual frustration which decreases the spiritual energies available.

Spiritual energy and physical energy are related, but not directly.  As the soul feels well, it generally causes the physical body to do likewise and therefore your mind senses a feeling of well being and is pleased with itself.  The net result is that the mind therefore takes better care of the physical body because it sense that it has a greater value.  In this respect, spiritual energy allows the physical body to take better care of itself, thus increasing physical energy levels as well.

Question:        What are the other ways to increase spiritual energies without sex?
Answer:           Meditation.  An expansion and state of rest allows the spiritual energies to slowly recharge.  But when engaged in mind training, the energy levels are drawn down.  Therefore, a meditation whose sole purpose is to obtain expansion and rest can recharge spiritual energies slowly.

There are other methods as well.  By dwelling or concentrating on different chakra points, they can be excited as well and energy benefits achieved. But because the 2nd chakra point is tied to such a strong physical desire, the spiritual energies derived by it are of a greater amount and force.  Therefore it is generally easier to obtain energies through this point than by any others.  As a side note, this is why your culture, even though sex is a generally frowned upon or at least in the past a taboo subject, has had such a preoccupation with the subject, for as people sneak around and hide their sexuality, they are in fact causing spiritual energy to be created which feeds their souls and produces feelings of well being.  They sense this and wonder why it I feel good about this, how can it be so evil?  They also feel guilty about feeling good about it.  This is due to many of the religious teachings of many religions hat have tried to diminish sex and therefore control spirituality.
