Rituals can influence the spiritual body and can provide very specific spiritual results. Rituals are a way that helps you focus your thoughts and joins it with a physical activity that can produce a spiritual result. That type of joining a focused spiritual thought with a physical activity can produce a spiritual experience. The ritual process engages the body and the mind together in an activity with a desired spiritual outcome. It usually focuses on a blessing, a spiritual gift, blessing, or desired change.
Each chakra point of the spiritual body can be influenced by specific types of rituals.
Here are some rituals that are tied and associated with each of the chakras:

Rituals are often created by the person doing the ritual. The one creating the ritual looks at the desired outcome while they prepare the ritual.
For example, "I want world peace" could be used to help guide you in creating a ritual about world peace. To begin, you would look at what chakra's and determine which chakras. may help to bring about world peace. For example, you may determine the first chakra is most closely associated with the energy of the earth. You may also select the fourth chakra because it is most closely aligned with love. And you may also select the fifth chakra because it is associated with communication.
One can then evaluate what components of those chakra's you may want to include in your ritual. Do you want to use color? Do you want to use sound? Do you want to use food? Perhaps movement?
After you determine what elements you want to use in your chakra, you bring those elements into the ritual to help you achieve the desired outcome.
The important aspect of a ritual is the activity that connects with the thought process. These tasks in combination help make a ritual more powerful than just a meditation, for example.
There are many types of rituals, but some of the rituals that are focused around seasonal change have a long history of intertwining the mind with the cosmos and spiritual energy forces of life. If you are interested in learning more about rituals, you can visit the ritual section.
